We are looking for a results-driven Sales Consultant with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, establishing contact, and following up on all potential leads for EHR Software Sales, specifically for Behavioral and Substance Abuse centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new sales opportunities within behavioral health organizations and medical practices
- Conduct product demonstrations and consult with healthcare organizations on workflow and technology needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow territory revenue
- Follow up on inbound and outbound leads generated through marketing, referrals, and industry events
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities and activities within HubSpot CRM
- Prepare sales activity reports, including pipeline status, follow-ups, and closed deals
- Stay current on MedEZ products, features, and healthcare industry trends
- Represent MedEZ at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Collaborate with internal teams to support successful client onboarding and project implementation
Qualifications
- Experience in EHR, healthcare technology, or SaaS sales preferred
- Experience selling to behavioral health or substance use treatment providers is a strong advantage
- Proven ability to build relationships and close new business
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory

Target Market: US and International.
Location: Remote
Main Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Obtains client information by answering telephone calls; interviewing clients; verifying information.
- Determines eligibility by comparing client information to requirements.
- Establishes policies by entering client information, and identifying leads.
- Informs clients by explaining procedures; answering questions; providing information.
- Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines, and recommending improved procedures.
- Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Industry market research and knowledge of Behavioral Health & Substance Abuse facilities.
- Take customer calls and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns.
- De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patient assistance and support. Call clients and customers about the company’s new products, services, and policies.
- Do daily calls from the database provided offering MedEZ solutions to potential clients.
- Help to train new employees and inform them about the company’s customer management policies.
Education/Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Strong communication, both written and verbal.
- Language Required: English – fluent.
- Required Experience: 1 + years of sales and telemarketing experience, background in market research is a plus.
- Great active listening skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and rapport-building skills.
- A patient and empathetic attitude.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
- Computer literacy.
- Phone skills, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems.
