Clinical Notes
In MedEZ™ an initial set up called Notes Setup drives the clinical notes software. Notes Setup is customizable by each healthcare provider in MedEZ™. Healthcare administrators can determine the type of notes they will be using and set up templates for those notes. This customizable clinical software setup is controlled by you so that you have the access to make changes anytime. We have a number of templates that can be used. Youcan create your healthcare facility’s HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation based on these templates.
MedEZ’s clinical notes software provides a progress note template which gives the user an expandable area in which to take notes. Management of these notes is made simple with the neat and organized printable format. There is also an individual note and a summary note format in MedEZ’s healthcare software which are also printable. Customizable notes have a more detailed setup – here are three parts to setting up thecustom note:
1) Set the name of the note and how many columns it should be when it prints.
2) Select each title on the note and define the type of information that should appear beneath the title.
3) Setting the information that should appear beneath each title.

When attaching electronic medical records and other HIPAA-compliant documents in MedEZ™, the information will print in the same format that it was saved in. Once a document is attached in MedEZ’s clinical software it is encrypted and stored in the MedEZ™ database, therefore there is no need to worry about where that file was saved.
