New, Improved Notes
A few new features have been added to the custom clinical notes of MedEZ™ to allow you to add even more to your clinical documentation.
1. Pull previous info from any note
There is now a feature that will pull information under a specific title from any previous note to a current note with that same title for a patient. This is especially useful for information such as family history, past surgeries, medications and prescriptions, things that remain generally the same. Once it pulls that information from prior notes, you still have the ability to edit it and add to it.
2. Check boxes on Custom Notes
Check boxes have been added to the custom notes format so you now have the option of free flow typing, fixed format, multiple choices, check boxes and images. The check boxes are different from the multiple choice option because you will see them all one the screen and they will all print on the note. With multiple choices, only the ones you selected will print on the note.
3. Ability to store images on custom notes
We have now put the ability to store images in the bitmap image on the clinical notes. This can be fixed so it always shows on the clinical or it can be added to the note as it is being done. If it is fixed on the note you will have the ability to edit the image – you can draw and write on it just like you would a piece of paper – and then it is in the electronic chart.
