Quest Diagnostics Interface
In late 2006, Integrated Software Solutions, Corp formed an alliance with Quest Diagnostics to receive, view and store lab results directly into MedEZ’s Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) module. Most patients don't think much about which diagnostic lab they use but doctors make about 70% of their healthcare decisions based on lab results. So you want the best possible team behind you. Quest Diagnostics is one of the nation's leading providers of diagnostic testing, information and services that patients and doctors need to make better healthcare decisions.
MedEZ™-Lab
We are pleased to report the completion of MedEZ™-Lab. MedEZ™-Lab retrieves lab results ordered from Quest Diagnostics and stores them as a part of the MedEZ™-EHR software module in text and PDF format.
How it works:
Current Quest users can order labs using the equipment provided by Quest. (If you are not using Quest as your lab company please contact a MedEZ™ sales representative to find out about conversion opportunities.) When labs are complete and the results are available the MedEZ™ Notifier engine will alert authorized users of incoming lab results. These results are subsequently posted in the patient records under the newly added tab, Lab Results.
MedEZ™-Lab also provides you with the ability to query all lab results using certain keywords. For instance, if you want to get all the Cholesterol test results, you may be able to query on that key word.
The MedEZ™-Lab module is now available to all existing clients as an addition to the MedEZ™ EHR module. If you are already using the MedEZ™ EHR module you can add the MedEZ™-Lab interface for a reduce price.
